Welcome to the new C64 Walkabout website! Since 2008 I've written over 100 blog articles and recorded a dozen podcasts here. Over the years the site has seen a few cosmetic changes, but the time finally came for me to move away from the pay-for QuickBlogcast hosting and blog software I was using and to Joomla where I have much more control over the look and feel of my site.
Some hiccups with the transition include images and links that are no longer valid in old articles since they were tied to the old site structure or hosted at different locations that are not accessible anymore. I've fixed the most recent articles, but have placed the bulk of the old ones, including your old comments and my responses, into the "Archives" menu. They aren't going to look quite right with missing images, and as a result I've unpublished many completely, but several will be there if you get nostalgic or need some old bit of info or an external link.
I will be adding a "tutorials" section in the future as well as a few other categories, and may host some downloadable content here as well in the upcoming months as time allows. If you have suggestions for improvements to the site, please sent them my way!
Some of the old article content you no longer see is in the process of being revised and integrated into a new e-book on the C64 that I plan to publish soon, so if you've enjoyed the articles here over the years, please watch for its release!
